£1million Lister Jaguar Knobbly Stirling Moss Edition

Say hello to one of the most expensive tribute cars ever made.

Almost sixty years on from the original release of the lightweight Lister Jaguar Knobbly Stirling Moss Editions, the Lister Motor Company has announced that it will build a limited run of ten units to the exact specification of the legendary original.

2Sadly, none of the original ten units have survived which means that these reincarnated examples will be the only ones on the road.

Using the same magnesium body design that made the original car one of the ultimate performance cars of its era, all of the cars will resemble the car that was driven to victory by Sir Stirling Moss at Silverstone in 1958.

4Each of the ten examples will be painted the classic Lister green and yellow colour combination that was originally adorned to the aforementioned version of the car.

3Using the same 3.8L engine that was produced by jaguar between 1954 and 1957, the Lister Jaguar Knobbly Stirling Moss Editions will produce 195kW- the same as the original specification for the engine in 1954.

5Buyers interested in owning a piece of new Jaguar history will be charged £1million for the privilege. Unfortunately for Australian fans of the Jaguar racing company, all ten examples will reside in the UK with deliveries expected to commence in the middle of 2017.
