New Porsche Panamera Wagon Spied: Video

Production for an all new four-door Porsche Panamera is expected to kick off at the start of 2017. This will be the second generation of the big-saloon car that shocked Porsche purists in 2009 when the German car-maker succumbed to the economic pressures and launched a four-door saloon that would join the Cayenne SUV in the pursuit of lifting sales and broadening Porsche’s appeal beyond the traditional two-seat sports car.

Whilst the Panamera didn’t win any beauty pageant’s, it impressed on the track and in a straight line with its thumping performance from a range of engine options that redefined expectations for the super-saloon segment and baited Aston Martin into launching the Rapide. The all-new 2017 Porsche Panamera is set to receive a new range of V6 and V8 powered petrol and diesel engines that will further utilise forced-induction to increase performance and improve emissions.

The all-new Panamera is set to be unveiled at the Paris Motorshow at the end of June. Porsche are yet to confirm a list of engine options for the Panamera. Video has surfaced on Youtube this week of Porsche testing a wagon variant of the Panamera that could serve as a rival to the brutally fast Audi RS6 and Mercedes E63 Wagon.
