2018 BMW X2 Revealed at The Paris Motorshow

The eagerly anticipated 2018 BMW X2 has been revealed today at the 2016 Paris Motorshow ahead of its release in 2018.

While not yet in full production guise, the BMW X2 concept car that was revealed this morning by the German manufacturer is expected to closely resemble the BMW X2 when it is released in 2018.

While an ancestry line shared with the BMW X1 is evident from some angles, the BMW X2 features a more futuristic design, slender headlights and a sloping roofline that sets it apart from the rest of the BMW range.

Perhaps the most drastic departure from the current BMW range comes from the rear end. The BMW X2 features two enormous rear tail pipes, a silver diffuser and cleaner lines than the current BMW X1, X3 and X5 Sports Utility range.

The reveal confirms BMW’s intentions to release the BMW X2, however, the German manufacturer is yet to confirm production plans for the X2, with a late 2017/early 2017 release date speculated.
