Ferrari LaFerrari Earthquake Fund

Ferrari have announced that they will build one final example of the LaFerrari that will be auctioned off to raise money for the victims of the August 24th earthquake tragedy in central Italy.

Ferrari Chairman and CEO, Sergio Marchionne, announced on Thursday that Ferrari would start up production of the hyper-limited Ferrari LaFerrari one last time with all proceeds to be donated to those affected by the tragic earthquake that claimed almost 300 lives.

Last produced in 2015, the Ferrari LaFerrari that will be individually built to aid earthquake victims will be the 500th couple produced after original production numbers were capped at 499.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 588kW 6.3-litre V12, the LaFerrari is aided by an electric motor motor that boosts total output to 708kW of power and 900Nm of torque.

Ferrari are yet to confirm when and where they will auction off the final LaFerrari Ferrari. Given a low mileage example of the Ferrari LaFerrari recently sold at auction for $6.9million, we expect that this final Ferrari LaFerrari to benefit earthquake victims will sell for significantly more than that.
