In March 2016 Jerry Seinfeld decided it was time to do some spring cleaning, to start, he cut down his significant and valuable Porsche collection. Seinfeld sold 17 Porsche’s at auction that netted him a total of more than $22 million USD- a drop in the ocean of his estimated $800million net worth. To be expected- his 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder took top honours for the day- pulling in an astounding $5.35million USD.
Seventeen out of eighteen cars sold on the day with just one car, a 2000 Carrera GT Prototype- just one of two ever made, not selling. We take a look at some of the highlights from Seinfeld’s collection and how much they ended up selling for on the day.
