The Mercedes Benz CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake offers all the fun and excitement of the A45 AMG Hatch, but now the dog can come too. The Shooting Brake is the largest offering in the A/CLA family, it utilises the same brilliant 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, gearbox and all-wheel drive system from the A45 AMG.
The CLA45 Shooting Brake’s long sweeping lines are more reminiscent of a two door coupe and less of a small family car. As you would expect from an AMG designed car, the CLA45 is fast- really fast, 0-100km/h is dealt with in 4.7sec thanks to the twin-scroll turbocharger that deploys a handy 265kW/450Nm. Whilst the CLA45 isn’t the cheapest way of getting the family around, it does manage to squeeze the personality of two cars into one very capable package.
