Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta Spotted

The first image of a Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta on the road has surfaced online less than a month after Ferrari announced that it would make a limited production run of the LaFerrari in convertible guise. Spotted outside the Ferrari factory in Maranello, the LaFerrari Aperta is finished in Ferrari’s signature racing red in contrast to the black example that Ferrari debuted earlier this month.

Ferrari are yet to confirm how many of the drop-top LaFerrari they will produce, however for those with pockets deep enough to warrant asking the question, it doesn’t matter, every model is accounted for and the order books have already closed.

The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta will feature the same 6.3L V12, coupled with a 120W electric motor to produce identical power figures to the hardtop version; 588kW of power and 708Nm of torque. Coupled with a seven-speed dual clutch gear box, the LaFerrari coupe covers the 0-100km/h sprint in 2.8sec.

Ferrari are yet to confirm an official release date for the LaFerrari Aperta, however there is suggestion that those details will be confirmed when the Aperta officially debuts at the Paris Motorshow next month.
